User Login Page

Users that land to Classter login paged will see a different UI (based on the configuration of each educational institution) and a different URL structure. This reflects an update on the MS Identity Management solution that offers enhanced protection against malicious login attempts and safeguard credentials with risk-based access controls. Also, the Identity Manager improves the signup process, especially for Applicant users during the admission process.

#36117 Admin has the option of enabling the Smart Notifications setting. These are notifications related to overdue, mutually conflicted or non-completed actions.

#34292 An addition has been made to general settings in the main settings of configuration. The option of not allowing duplicate abbreviations and descriptions to specific entities such as Class, Stream or Year. When creating entities such as A Class you will not be allowed to create a new class if the abbreviation or description of the class already exists in a different class. You will receive a warning that the abbreviation or description of your new class already exists.

#34249 When creating a new subject, the system will now check that the abbreviation you use is not the same as another existing subject. So, if you have an abbreviation for a music subject e.g MS1 and for a new statistics subject you put e.g MS1 then the system will notify you with a warning popup window that the abbreviation for this new statistics subject already exists.

#33980 Addition of 2 settings in Core version, Account Email and Entity Email, for being able to send emails to students’ and parents’ personal email addresses.

#33688 In the Teachers Portal you can now find a bulk actions button in my student’s tab for better management and communication. Additionally, in my classes tab, you can now send emails to all the students of a teacher by selecting the option from the actions button.

#36646 In the quick actions menu you can now preview students without being transferred to the edit page. You will see a preview card once you select preview and the student right underneath the search field. In the preview card, you can see a picture of the student with the contact details and parent names.

#36517 You can now print a copy of a class timetable directly from Class Management. You go to manage classes choose the class you want e.g Y4B and from the edit page, you can view the Timetable tab. Click on the print timetable button.

#36251 An addition has been made to the teacher’s portal regarding the scheduling of assignments. If a teacher creates an assignment that has not been marked and/or attendance has not been taken. You will now be able to delete this assignment not only from the actions button in grid view but also from the actions button on the edit assessment page.

#36027 In the new search boxes added to the student list filters you can make a search for a student by filling in the search field and clicking on the Enter button on your keyboard. Minor addition to quicker function. Available to all user portals.

#35089 In the message center you can now forward messages you receive. Just click on the forward button. In addition, administrators when sending emails via Classter can cc the sender which they choose from the sender dropdown list.
