Academic Settings / Attendance Settings / General Settings / Rights & Controls / Hide comments from Students and Parents
This is where you specify whether the attendance comments will be hidden from parents and students.
When this setting is active, notes/comments are hidden in the attendance form and in the attendance justification form.
Example in Parent’s portal
Setting -> Active
Setting -> Inactive
