This setting controls whether the notes/comments that Teachers and staff attach to attendance entries are visible to Students and Parents, or hidden from them. The Notes column is hidden from the attendance list and attendance justification screens in the Student and Parent portals whenever this setting is active. Staff and Teacher views are not affected — comments remain visible to them regardless of this setting.
