If configured, when staff manually add a Student to an Internship or Thesis, the status chosen here is preselected in the enrollment status dropdown, saving staff from having to pick it every time. This setting affects the manual enrollment screen reached from Internships & Theses > Internships (or Thesis) > Enrollments, where staff manually add a Student to an available Internship/Thesis course.
