Rounding of Minutes for Suggested Number of Absences per Session Calculation

App Settings › Academic Settings › Attendance › Attendance Taking · Updated 2026-07-22

Classter can automatically suggest how many absences to record for a Student based on how many minutes of a session or timetable slot they missed. This setting defines the rounding increment, 5, 30, or 60 minutes, used when converting missed minutes into that suggested absence figure. A smaller increment gives a more precise, granular suggestion, while a larger increment groups missed time into bigger blocks.
