If the Student has a Subject status of Attendance Semi-Exempt (marked Orange) then the default Absence Category is
This setting lets you choose the Absence Category that Classter pre-fills by default whenever a student is marked absent for a subject in which their Subject Status entry has the "Attendance Exclusion" property set to "Attendance Semi-Exemption (Student Is In List But Marked Orange)". Students in this state are also highlighted in orange in the attendance-taking grid, distinguishing them from students marked red.
