When several Groups [Classes] share the same Subject, assessments may be recorded per Group. This setting decides whether, when a specific Group is selected in the gradebook filters, only the assessments recorded for that Group are used to calculate the assessment average, or whether all assessments recorded for the Subject (across every Group) are used regardless of which Group is currently filtered.
