Overview

Quick Online Payments End Date/Quick_Online_Payments_End_Date is located in Financial Settings > General Settings > e-Payments > Quick Online Payments [Open Form]. It specifies the date after which the quick online payment link stops accepting payments.

What This Setting Does

This setting lets the institution define the last date on which the public quick payment form will accept payments. After this date, the quick payment link will no longer be usable by payers, even if the feature is otherwise enabled.

Where It Is Used

This is a public, link-based payment form and does not appear in the main application menu. This date controls when the open payment form itself stops accepting payments once someone reaches the link.

• The same end date is also checked wherever the quick payment option is offered inside the portal, such as on the _Student_ profile screen (Main Menu > Management > _Student_ List > open a _Student_ > Online Payment) and on the _Student_/_Parent_ Financial screen (Main Menu > Financial), so the option to get or use the link disappears once the window has closed.

Business Logic / Behavior

• This is a date field, not a toggle or dropdown.
• This date specifies until which date quick online payments are available.
• Attempts to use the quick payment link after this date are blocked, and the form shows as unavailable.
• This setting works together with Quick Online Payments Start Date/Quick_Online_Payments_Start_Date to define a valid availability window for the link.

Example(s)

Brightwater College runs a one-month fundraising drive during September and only wants its quick payment link active for that period, so alongside a Start Date of September 1 it sets Quick Online Payments End Date to September 30. Payments made on September 30 are accepted normally, but a payer who opens the same link on October 2 sees the form as expired and cannot complete a payment.

When to Use

Use this setting whenever the institution wants to define a closing date for the quick payment link, for example to close a billing period, end an enrollment window, or conclude a time-limited campaign.

• Prerequisites: Enable quick online payments [Open form]/Enable_Quick_Online_Payments_Open_Form must be turned on for this date restriction to be relevant.

K-12 vs Higher Education: This setting behaves the same regardless of whether Higher Education Mode (Enable Configuration for Higher Education/Xrisi_parametropoihshs_kolegiou) is enabled or disabled.
