Overview
Quick Online Payments Link/Quick_Online_Payments_Link is located in Financial Settings > General Settings > e-Payments > Quick Online Payments [Open Form]. It shows the dedicated public URL that can be used to access the quick online payment form.
What This Setting Does
This setting displays a dedicated web address (URL) that the institution can share with payers so they can make a quick, open-form payment without logging into the portal. It is generated by the system once the feature is enabled, rather than being manually typed in by the administrator.
Where It Is Used
This is a public, link-based payment form and does not appear in the main application menu. The address itself is generated once the feature is enabled and is meant to be shared outside the portal, for example on the institution’s website or in emails.
- Inside the portal, the same address is surfaced in two places so staff and payers can retrieve or copy it without navigating away: on the _Student_ profile screen (Main Menu > Management > _Student_ List > open a _Student_ > Online Payment > Quick online payment link), where staff can copy a version of the link personalized for that _Student_; and on the _Student_/_Parent_ Financial screen (Main Menu > Financial), where the payer can see and copy their own quick payment link directly on the page.
Business Logic / Behavior
- This is an action/link item rather than a typical input field or toggle; it exposes a generated URL rather than a value the administrator sets directly.
- The institution must first enable quick online payments before this link becomes available.
- The link’s behavior (what students, gateways, and dates it applies to) is governed by the other settings in the Quick Online Payments [Open Form] sub-group, such as Enabled Payment Gateways and the start/end dates.
Example(s)
An Academy has enabled quick online payments and now wants to place a Pay Now button on its public website. The administrator copies the URL shown in Quick Online Payments Link and uses it as the destination for that button; a parent who clicks the button can type in a $320 tuition balance and pay it immediately, without logging into the portal first.
When to Use
Use this setting whenever the institution needs to retrieve or share the public payment link after enabling quick online payments. It is typically referenced once the feature is set up, to distribute the link through the institution’s own channels.

- Prerequisites: Enable quick online payments [Open form]/Enable_Quick_Online_Payments_Open_Form must be turned on first; the resource description explicitly states the link will not be created otherwise.
