Use Custom Post Codes
This setting controls whether users can type in a postal code that does not already exist in the institute's postal code list, instead of only being able to pick one from the existing list. Classter normally keeps a list of postal codes that users can search and select from when entering an address, for example on a Student (Learner) or Teacher (Educator) form.
