Overview
Enable Arrangement Review Option: General Settings > Arrangements Parameters, in the Basic Settings sub-group.
What This Setting Does
This setting allows staff to add quality review information to each financial arrangement that is created. When enabled, extra review-related properties become available on an arrangement, letting staff record that the arrangement has been checked or reviewed for accuracy and completeness.
Where It Is Used
This setting controls a review-status filter, column, and action that can appear wherever financial arrangements are listed or edited.
- Main Menu > Financial > Arrangements List – adds a Review Status filter and column, plus an Arrangement Review action and a bulk Save Arrangement Reviews action, letting staff mark arrangements as reviewed.
- Main Menu > Financial > Installment Analysis (Vertical view) – the same review-status option is available on the installment-level grid.
- Main Menu > Management > Students List > (open a _Student_) > Financial tab – the review option also applies to the arrangement panel shown on the _Student_’s own record.
Business Logic / Behavior
- This is an on/off checkbox setting, disabled by default.
- When enabled, each created arrangement can have quality review properties added to it, supporting a review or approval workflow for arrangements.
- When disabled (default), no review properties are available on arrangements.
Example(s)
Example: at Alpha University, the finance department creates 30 new tuition arrangements totaling $270,000 during August 2026 registration. The finance manager enables this setting so each arrangement gains review properties.
A supervisor checks all 30, marks 28 as reviewed, and flags 2 arrangements where the installment total was off by $500 from the agreed tuition, sending those 2 back for correction before they are finalized.
When to Use
When to Enable
Enable this setting if your institution wants to add a quality control or review step to the financial arrangement creation process, so arrangements can be checked and marked as reviewed.
When to Disable
Disable this setting (the default) if no additional review step is needed for financial arrangements and you want to keep the arrangement creation process as simple as possible.

Prerequisites: None identified beyond enabling the setting itself.

This setting behaves the same regardless of whether Higher Education Mode (Enable Configuration for Higher Education) is enabled or disabled.
