Student Status enabled for Financial Agreement presentation

Updated on July 7, 2026

Overview

Student Status enabled for Financial Agreement presentation/Student_Status_Enabled_For_Financial_Agreement_Presentation is a setting located under Financial Settings > General Settings > Arrangements Parameters, in the Arrangements Visibility to Payers sub-group.

What This Setting Does

This setting controls which financial Arrangements are visible to Students and their relatives in the portal, based on the Student’s status. If one or more Student statuses are selected, only Arrangements connected to an _Educational Program_ or to a Student who currently has one of the selected statuses will be shown in the Student and Relatives portal. Arrangements tied to Students with other statuses will not be displayed there.

Where It Is Used

This setting is read and applied in the backend service that builds the Student/parent financial view. It affects:

  • Main Menu > Financial (Student/parent portal) – the list of financial Arrangements and installments shown here is filtered according to the Student’s status before being sent to the portal.

Business Logic / Behavior

  • This is a multi-select list of Student statuses (for example active, graduated, suspended, or other statuses configured in the system).
  • If any status is selected, only Arrangements connected to an _Educational Program_, or in general to a Student, whose status matches one of the selected values will be visible in the Student and Relatives portal.
  • Arrangements linked to Students whose status is not among the selected ones will be hidden from the portal, though they remain fully visible and manageable to staff internally.
  • If no statuses are selected, this filter does not restrict portal visibility, and Arrangements are shown according to other applicable settings.

Example(s)

At Alpha Institute, the registrar’s office selects only the “Active” status for this setting. A Student named Chris D. has an Arrangement with 4 remaining installments of $500 each ($2,000 total) when he graduates on May 15, 2026 and his status changes to “Graduated.” From that date onward, Chris’s $2,000 Arrangement is no longer shown in his (or his relatives’) portal view, even though staff can still see and manage all 4 installments internally, because “Graduated” was not among the selected statuses.

When to Use

This setting matters when the institution wants to limit which financial Arrangements are visible to Students and their relatives based on the Student’s current enrollment or lifecycle status, for example to hide Arrangements for Students who are no longer actively enrolled.

Notes

No other setting must be enabled first for this to function, but it works together with other visibility settings in the same sub-group to determine the final list of Arrangements shown in the portal.

  • Show Discount Details in _Student_/Parents Portal (Show_Discount_Details_in_Students_Parents_Portal in Financial Settings > General Settings > Arrangements Parameters > Arrangements Visibility to Payers)
  • Merge of how installments are presenting in _Student_/parent portal (Merge_of_how_installments_are_presenting_in_Student_parent_Portal in Financial Settings > General Settings > Arrangements Parameters > Arrangements Visibility to Payers)
  • Related configuration: Student State list (Main Menu > Parametric Lists > Student State, filtered by Type = _Student_) – where the _Student_ status/state codes offered in this multi-select are created and managed.

This setting behaves the same regardless of whether Higher Education Mode (Enable Configuration for Higher Education/Xrisi_parametropoihshs_kolegiou) is enabled or disabled.
