Overview
This setting (Educational_Program_Status_Enabled_For_Automated_Enrollment_Of_Group_Subjects) is located in Main Settings > General Settings > Student Form Registration, under the Automated Groups/Subjects enrollments group.c
What This Setting Does
This setting limits the automated _Group_/_Subject_ enrollment process to _Students_ whose educational program currently has one of the selected statuses, for example Active or Enrolled. If a _Student_’s educational program status is not in the selected list, the automated process skips that _Student_ entirely.
Where It Is Used
This setting runs automatically in the background with no dedicated screen. It is evaluated every time the automated enrollment process runs, triggered when a _Student_’s educational program is created or changed on Main Menu > Management > Students > Students List > [click a _Student_] > Edit form > Educational Program / School Registrations tab.
Business Logic / Behavior
- This is a multi-select setting; the list of Student Status/Condition values is configured elsewhere and selected here.
- When one or more statuses are selected, the automated enrollment process only runs for _Students_ whose educational program currently has one of those statuses.
- If the list is left empty, no status filtering is applied and the automated process is not restricted by educational program status.
- This setting only has an effect when the master switch, Enable the automated enrollment of Students to Groups/Subjects upon education program creation or change, is enabled.
Example(s)
At Alpha Institute, administrator Yara selects only the Active status in this setting. Student Dylan M.’s educational program has status Pending, while _Student_ Chloe R.’s educational program has status Active. When both of their educational programs are created on the same day in September 2026, the automated enrollment process runs for Chloe, enrolling her into her matching _Groups_ and _Subjects_, but skips Dylan entirely because his program status is not in the selected list.
When to Use
Use this setting to prevent the automated enrollment process from acting on educational programs that are not yet confirmed or that are in a status where automatic enrollment would not make sense, for example a Pending or Cancelled status. Leave the list empty if the automated process should run regardless of educational program status.

Prerequisite: this setting only takes effect when Enable_Automated_Enrollment_Of_Students_To_Groups_Subjects_On_Education_Program_Change is enabled.

K-12 vs Higher Education: this setting behaves the same regardless of whether Higher Education Mode (Enable Configuration for Higher Education/Xrisi_parametropoihshs_kolegiou) is enabled or disabled.
