This feature is designed to make phone number entry easier by automatically filling in the country code based on the country associated with an entity. Here’s how it works:
Institute’s Country Code
For institutes, the system retrieves the country code from saved data. If the user changes the country, the empty phone fields update to reflect the new country’s code.
Student Form
When a form is opened, the system checks for the country linked to the entity. If a country is saved:
- The phone field is prefilled with the corresponding country code (image below). If no country is saved, the system uses the institute’s default country code (image above). If neither is available, the phone field remains blank, just as it did before.
When Changing the Country
If the country is changed while filling out the form, all empty phone fields are updated with the new country’s code. (image 1)

Any phone fields that already contain a number remain unchanged. (image 2) For additional phone inputs, the new fields automatically use the country code of the selected country.
