Set Default Guardian (on new Student creation)

Main Settings / General Settings / Student Form / Default Values / Set Default Guardian (on new Student creation)

Here we define if the pre-selected guardian is father, mother, other or self ( Student him/herself, i.e. no guardian exists).

The last option, is used when a Student is adult (e.g. for Higher Education configurations).
When a user creates a new Student and he/she adds a Student relative, then Classter will automatically select the Guardian checkbox based on the setting defined here.

Example

Setting -> Active -> Father

Click on “New Relative” in student’s from to add Father and Mother, as shown below (Figure 1 & 2)

Guardian Selection is default because it follows the option you set in the setting (Figure 3)
