Setting: Message category for bulk requesting processes

What This Setting Does
This setting selects the message category that Classter uses when it automatically sends a notification message to the user who requested a bulk reporting job (for example, a bulk document generation request), once that job finishes.
Where It Is Used
Main Settings > General Settings > Parametric Lists > Message Categories, where message categories are created and managed; only categories flagged as usable for notifications are offered as choices in this setting. The category selected here is then used automatically by the bulk reporting process, with no dedicated screen of its own.
Business Logic / Behavior
- Only message categories that are flagged as usable for notifications appear as available choices for this setting.
- If no category is configured here, the bulk reporting process falls back to whichever message category is flagged as the default notification category in Message Categories.
- The selected category is applied automatically to the completion notification message sent for bulk reporting requests; it is not something the requesting user picks manually.
Example(s)
Alpha Institute has a message category named System Notifications flagged for notification use. They select System Notifications in this setting.
When a staff member, Grace T., later runs a bulk request to generate certificates for 200 _Students_, the completion message she receives once the job finishes is filed under the System Notifications category, making it easy for her to find later among her other messages.
When to Use
Use this setting to control how completion notifications from bulk reporting requests are categorized in the messaging system, so staff can filter or find them more easily.
