The Announcements & Calendar section in the Classter mobile app provides Students with essential updates and a structured view of their academic schedule, ensuring they stay informed about school events, assignments, and activities.
Announcements
Accessing Announcements
Tap on Announcements from the main menu.
You will be directed to the Announcements screen, where you can view important updates related to events, activities, exams, and other school notifications.
Unread and Read Announcements
The Unread tab displays new announcements that you have not checked yet. Tap on an announcement to view its complete details.
Each announcement card contains essential information, including the Title, Short Description, Location, Start and End Time, and Date.
Switch to the Read tab to access announcements you have already viewed.
Files & Links in Announcements
If an announcement includes attachments, you can:
- View or download files.
- Open any provided links for additional information.
Marking Announcements as Read
After reading an announcement, tap the back-arrow icon to return to the previous screen or the main menu.
The announcement will automatically move from Unread to Read.
Note: If no announcements are available, a message stating, “No Announcements Found!” will be displayed.
Calendar (My Plan)
Accessing the Calendar
Tap on My Plan from the main menu to check your schedule, including classes, exams, assignments, and school events.
Note: The calendar opens in monthly view by default.
Viewing Scheduled Events
Dates with scheduled activities are marked with a dot. Tap on a date with a dot to see the events planned for that day.
Select an event to view detailed information such as Start and End Date, Start and End Time, and Event Type.
Navigating the Calendar
Use the following options to navigate the calendar efficiently:
- Calendar icon: Jump back to the current day, week, or month, depending on the view.
- Left and right arrows: Move between different months, weeks, or days.
- Three-dot menu: Switch between different calendar views.
Switching Calendar Views
With the help of the Three-dot menu, you can change how the calendar displays your schedule:
- Day View: Shows events planned for a single day.
- Week View: Displays all scheduled activities for the entire week.
- Month View: Offers an overview of the entire month with event indicators.
