Admission / Admission Settings / Signup & Applicants Portal / Personal & Admission Data Form Setup / Allow applicants to submit new options in Special Student Field 6
This is a special setting and may vary from company to company because it is about terminology. In our company the name of the setting is “Allow applicants to submit new options in Bus Transportation”, depending on your needs you can give any name you want. To change setting’s name, you must go in Main Settings / Customize Terminology, as shown below.
Prerequisites:
- Activate the custom field in the personal configurator, as shown below.
You must select the checkbox ” Visible” and if you want the other options
This Setting is useful if the custom field is open, and the setting is Active then the admission user can add a value to the dropdown of the field.
Example
Setting -> Active
If the user wants an additional option not included in the list, he can click on it and choose it
Setting -> Inactive
The user can only select the available options from the list
