This setting automatically generates session titles based on a customizable format. Instead of manually entering session titles, you can configure the system to build the titles for you by combining different fields like the group name, subject, date, and time. This ensures consistency in session titles across all screens.
- Navigate to the Academic Settings and configure the “Session Title Dynamic Format” by choosing from available fields such as Group Title, Subject Description, Subject Abbreviation, Date, Time, Classroom Abbreviation, and Teacher.
- You can also define a separator (like a dash, space, or comma) that will be used to join these fields.
- Once configured, this format will automatically be applied every time a session is created, copied, or suggested.
- For example, a session title could look like: [Group], [SubjectAbbr], [Date] – [Time] – [ClassroomAbbr] – [Teacher]
Example:
Either creating your Session manually (Image 1) or selecting the Mass Import Sessions (Image 2) button, the session title will be generated automatically based on the format you’ve configured. (Image 3)
