What types of documents can be signed in Classter?

Updated on October 14, 2025

1 min to read

In Classter, you can send nearly any official or internal document for signing — as long as it requires confirmation or approval.

Examples of documents you can send for signing include:

  • Re-registration forms – confirm yearly student enrollment

  • Student per Educational Program Lists – verify enrollment in specific programs

  • Student Lists or Student Cards – sign consent forms or confirm personal data

  • Arrangement Lists – approve tuition agreements or financial terms

  • Arrangement Lists (Per Arrangement) – confirm individual payment arrangements

  • Application Lists – sign admission offers or acceptance letters

  • Student per Services / per Service – confirm optional services like transportation or meals

  • Private Agreements – send custom contracts to students, teachers, payers, guardians, or agents

You can customize templates for each document type to suit your institution’s needs.

What does the “Type” field mean in a signature template?

The Type field in a signature template defines where in Classter the document will appear for signing.

It links the template to a specific list, module, or workflow, such as:

  • Applications

  • Arrangements

  • Student Lists

This ensures the signature request is initiated from the correct context and tied to the right entity (e.g., a specific student, application, or financial arrangement).

In short:

  • The document defines what you’re sending for signing.

  • The Type defines where the signing action happens in Classter.

Together, they make the signing process clear and integrated across all modules.
