You have two main approaches depending on the type of document:
- Custom Reports / Templates
- A report is created inside Classter, customized with data such as student name, tuition fees, program, and dates.
(Note: These custom reports/templates are usually prepared for you by Classter staff.)
- The report includes a reserved space for signatures
Example: An Enrollment Contract template that automatically pulls in a student’s personal and financial data.
- Once finalized, the report is converted into a PDF and sent for signature.
- Uploaded Files (for DocuSign mainly)
- If you already have a preformatted contract in Word or PDF, you can upload it directly to a student’s file and send it for signing.
- For DocuSign, you must insert specific placeholders in the document:
-
- **signature** → marks where the user signs
-
- **date_signed** → inserts the signing date
-
- For multiple signatories: **signature_2**, **date_signed_2**, etc.
- For multiple signatories: **signature_2**, **date_signed_2**, etc.
(To enable this option, go to: CRM Settings > General Settings > Signatures > Return different pages per signatory person, using dynamic tags.)
