Overview
The system introduces a new rule called the “Minimum GPA Mark” for online enrollments in the ACADEMIC/HE module. This rule becomes active only when the Enable GPA Calculation Format setting is turned on. (Go to Academic Settings > Marking Settings > General Settings > Annual Results > Enable GPA Calculation Format)
Go to Curriculum > Select your curriculum > Edit Structure > Select a Subject (Finance II on our example below) > Set the Prerequisite Subject and its GPA Mark.
This feature works alongside existing prerequisites to validate user eligibility and provide feedback. Set the Prerequisite subject and its GPA Mark.
Online Enrollments
If the students do not meet the “Minimum GPA Mark” a Yellow Exclamation Warning appears.
In the Student Form or Online Enrollments (Student’s Portal), the system displays a yellow exclamation warning if any prerequisite, including the “Minimum GPA Mark,” is incomplete.
- For administrators, the warning is informational only and does not block the enrollment process.
- However, for students, the warning will block the enrollment until the prerequisite, including the required GPA, is met. A tooltip will explain which prerequisites are incomplete.
