In this Setting you can select on which state of the workflow the Employer who will receive a notification about the Internship.

Employer
The Employer will receive notification for each state of the workflow for the Internship when it changes.
Setting -> Publish An Internship, Apply Action, Marked and Closed, Set Interview Date, Enrollment Acceptance By Employer
The Employer will not receive notification for Started Placement when the Internship workflow will update to Started.
