To plan homework and have it not visible to parents or students, from the configuration menu, go to Academic Settings > Sessions & Homework > Homework Scenarios. (Figure 1)

In the next window, click on the button “Main Scenario”. (Figure 2)

For the homework category you want to be visible at a later time, in the field “Auto Approval” select “On”. (Figure 3)

Once this step is completed, you want to set the time the homework will be visible. To achieve that, from the configuration menu, go to Academic Settings > Sessions & Homework > General Settings. (Figure 4)

In this window, in the Homework section, set the time that it will be visible to students/parents, and click on the “Save” button. (Figure 5)
