General Contact Selection

Admission / Admission Settings / Signup & Applicants Portal / Personal & Admission Data Form Setup / General Contact Selection

This setting sets the default value in the “general contact” checkbox. There are three available options.

1. Default Selected, on page load the academic contact selection is selected.
2. Default Unselected, the checkbox remains unselected.
3. Let user Decide, user chooses whether to check or not.

Prerequisites:

• Activate the general contact in the personal configurator, as shown below.

Note: If the ” general contact” checkbox is not visible in the personal configurator, then, whether the general contact will be selected or not, will be defined by the value selected in the ” General Contact Selection” Setting.

Setting -> Let User Decide

The checkbox is unselected, the user decides whether to select it or not. It has similar functionality to “default unselected”
