CRM Settings / General Settings / Announcement Settings / Basic Settings / Announcement Categories Shown in Dashboard
Follow the path to select one or more announcement categories.
Announcements of these categories will be displayed in the user dashboard page.

To add more Announcement Categories to that dropdown list, simply follow the path:
CRM Settings -> Dropdown lists -> Dropdown lists:Calendar Categories list -> Add New or Edit (Figure 3)

Check “Announcement” as the Type (Figure 4)

Click on “Save” when you are ready and that’s it, you just added a new Announcement Category !
