Check for Duplicate Book entries using the following field

Library Settings / Library Settings / Basic Settings / Check for Duplicate Book entries using the following field

Here you define the control to be carried out in order not to create duplicate entries for books. There are 3 available options:

1. ISBN, compare the ISBNs of the books
2. Title, compare the Title of the books
3. Abbreviation, compare the Abbreviation of the books

Note: the check and the message depend on the option in the setting “The duplication check gives a”

Example

Setting -> Title and The duplication check gives a Warning

There is already one book with “A Is for Autumn” title as shown below, if you try to create one more with the same title you will receive a warning but you can create and save
