Financial Settings / General Settings / Transaction Rights & Controls / Transaction Controls / Forbid any modification of transactions older than the date specified here
Here you set the date from which deletion and issuance of transactions will not be allowed.
Example
Setting -> 01/02/2022
If you try to issue invoice in date older than 01/02/2022 you will receive a waring, as shown below
The same warning will be displayed if you try to delete an older transaction
