Overview
Setting label: Enabled informational Icons in Student’s educational program list
Setting ID: Enable_Informational_Icons_In_Students_Card_Educational_Program_List
Location: Main Settings > General Settings > Student Form Registration tab, Educational Program Parameters group
What This Setting Does
This setting adds small informational icons next to entries in the educational program list on the _Student_ card page, giving staff a quick visual signal about certain conditions of that educational program record, such as whether it involved a transfer, has no connected arrangement, or has connected financial data.
Where It Is Used
Main Menu > Students > Students List > View (or Edit) > Student card page, Educational Program list.
Business Logic / Behavior
- Transfer From/To: shows an icon on educational program rows that were created as a result of a transfer, indicating where the _Student_ was transferred from or to.
- No Arrangement Connection: shows an icon on educational program rows that have no financial arrangement connected to them, helping staff spot registrations that may be missing billing setup.
- Connected Financial Data: shows an icon on educational program rows that do have financial data connected, helping staff quickly identify which enrollments are tied to billing.
- More than one icon type can be enabled at the same time, and rows can display multiple icons if more than one condition applies.
- If no option is selected, no informational icons are shown on the Educational Program list.
Example(s)
Alpha Institute enables No Arrangement Connection. When finance officer Marta K. opens the Student card page for _Student_ Owen B., she immediately sees a warning icon next to his Fall 2026 educational program row, indicating that this enrollment has no financial arrangement connected. Marta uses this visual cue to follow up and create the missing arrangement without having to check every row individually.
When to Use
Use this setting when staff need a fast visual way to spot educational program rows that need attention, such as missing financial arrangements or transfer-related enrollments, without opening each row to check manually.
